We are asking our students to PRE-REGISTER for classes.  This will help us prepare for the class to insure that we have enough patterns, supplies or kits if needed.  Note: If we do not have sign ups for class that class will be canceled for that month due to want we will take as a lack of interest.  Can't come in, to sign up please give us a call, we will sign you up over the phone.  We have a 3 person minimum to hold the class, you will be called if the class is canceled. Thank you. Remember if you have signed up and paid for your class you will receive 25% off on class supplies for that project.  Classes that runs in a series you only sign up for that series 1 time.  Example:  Thimbleberries, Hoop sisters, mystery quilt,  any class with a part 1, part 2, etc. If you have any questions on this please call.

Class Information

Please allow yourself time to get your sewing machine setup before class.  We don't want you to miss any instructions that might be given.

Basic Class Supply List

             Sewing machine in good working order and one with which you are familiar with.       Remember to pack your cords, foot pedal and all the feet accessories you will need for class.

neutral thread

extra needles

wound bobbins

1/4" or quilting foot for machine

Rotary supplies: mat, cutter (with new blade), rulers, ( I suggest a 6x24, 6x12, and 6x6 to start).

Basic sewing/quilting notions: pins, scissors, seam ripper, marking pen.

We do carry supplies that can be purchase here at our store.

If working from a purchased pattern, beyond its fabric requirement, you will need to bring whatever supplies are listed on the pattern.  If doing fusible appliqué you must have an appliqué pressing sheet.

Supplies you use at home is what you will need here.

If you are taking a class that will be done at the end of our business day. We are asking that you  would start to gather up your class project 1/2 hour before closing.  This give our employees time to close the day out and clean the store for the next business day.  We appreciate your consideration.

 We are the only retail shop in this area to carry Hoop sisters       and offer classes, patterns and supplies for hoop sisters.   Hoop sisters combine embroidery and quilting together in a hoop.

Bring machine with embroidery unit ready to receive block and video (floppy or memory stick) fabrics, threads, etc.

Jelly Roll                   Flower Garden September 20th 10:30 - 4:30

Kits are available for purchase with 1 week notice to prepare your kit for class.  Pattern will be issued in class.  If you are bringing your own fabrics you will need for a:     Small quilt  1 jelly roll            Large quilt: = 2 jelly rolls   Plus border fabric ( to be decided in class)   (sign up needed)

 Learn freemotion quilting on your home sewing machine

 If you have been taking this class bring a small quilt project that is ready to quilt.  You will be quilting it in class.  Remember to bring your quilt sandwiches to practice on first.  Learn new designs each month.   If you are new to this bring 2 quilt sandwiches only with you.  Everyone needs to bring their page protectors and dry markers with them.  REMEMBER:   Your machine must be in good working order.  Your feed dogs must go down, and you need an open toe foot for your machine in order to take this class.

  Class fee: $15.00

Bring your extension table if you have one.

2 fabric quilt sandwiches made of 2 pieces of muslin and batting (spray basted together).
